Ed Henderson, CPA

Ed received a Bachelor of Business Science degree with a major in Accounting from Berry College.
He is the Quality Control Partner of the firm, with over thirty years of experience in public accounting.
Ed’s range of specialties includes auditing and taxation of financial and manufacturing institutions.
His experience also includes work in income tax preparation and planning for nonprofit organizations as well as wholesale and retail businesses.
Ed is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
He is a past campaign chairman of the United Way’s annual campaign and has also served on the board.
He has been on the board of the Boys Club of Rome for twenty years and now serves as an advisor.

Joe Lake, CPA

Joe is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
He has been with RMS for thirty-two years and been a partner for thirty years. He is currently the managing partner of the firm.
In the past, he has served as the partner in charge of thea uditing and accounting department and management advisory services department.
Joe has extensive experience in auditing financial institutions, manufacturing concerns, and other profit oriented businesses.
Joe provides management and business consulting to various entities in the area.
His audit, tax, and consulting experience includes acting as engagement partner on companies with sales volumes ranging from three to over a hundred million and financial institutions having up to one hundred
fifty million in assets.
In addition, he performs business valuations and provides estate planning.
Joe is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Institute
of Business Appraisers.
He is also an active member of Midday Optimist.

Linda Rhodes, CPA

Linda earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Emory University
and received her accounting education from Floyd College and Berry College.
She has been with the firm since 1977 and became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1981.
Linda’s area of concentration is in taxation of various types of entities, especially individuals, estates, trusts, and foundations.
She has extensive experience working with executors and trustees involving estates and trusts, including multimillion-dollar entities.
She also works with individuals concerning lifetime giving and gifts.
Linda is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
